AMBASSA, July 5 (TIWN): Locals stopped a project work after their patta land was announced to be used for the project.

It has been known, 14 years ago the forest department had given land to them by demarcation.

The land (also known as ‘Patta’) was provided to 35 families in Bhagirath Para area of ??Ambassa. But now again steps have been taken by the forest department to make a new project in this place.

Protesting this, the local people gheraoed the Forest office there.

They public also stopped the project work there, stopping the workers to progress their works on the land.
