AGARTALA, July 3 (TIWN): For the past three months, common people have been suffering from electricity problems in Madhyapara, PWD Road, Ward No. 8 under Kailasahar Municipal Corporation.

Even though the local people protested many times at the office of Sai Computer, nothing was done.

Therefore, being helpless and in a kind of compulsion, the people of the area placed a deputation to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) on Wednesday.

They complained that the transformer in the area caught fire due to electricity problems, but so far no initiative was taken by the officials to fix the issue.
