AGARTALA, July 3 (TIWN): Is there any reason behind 11 intruders’ entries in Tripura in last 4 days (as per police record) or the 11-digit is just coincidence? After Sunday, Monday, once again on Wednesday, 33 Bangladeshi citizens were arrested by police from Agartala Railway station.
On Sunday 11 and on Monday also 11 Bangladeshis were arrested. In last 4 days 33 Bangladeshi citizens along with some kids and in last 1 month 50 Bangladeshis were arrested by Agartala Railway police.
The arrested Bangladeshi civilians of Wednesday are : 1) Alamin Sardar (36), Dist. Gopal Ganj, Bangladesh, 2) Abu Hanif Sardar (22), Dist-Khulna, Bangladesh, 3) Sumaya Akhtar (18), Dist-Khulna, Bangladesh, 4)Tumpa Haque (18), Dist- Sirajganj, Bangladesh, 5) Baishakhi (13), Dist. Chittagang, Bangladesh, 6) Lakhi Akter (25), Dist. Netrakuna, Bnagladesh, 7) Jharna Begum (30), Dist- Narail, Bnagladesh, 8) Aduri Khanam (24), Dist- Norai, Bangladesh, 9) Akhi Sekh (27), Dist- Siddhigaj, Bangladesh. 10) Lakhi Akter (25), Dist. Sadar, Bangladesh, 11) Deepa (34), Dist- Jashore, Bangladesh.
On June 30, total 11 Bangladeshi and today (July 1) more 11 Bangladeshis have been arrested.
On June 15, 2 Bangladeshi citizens were arrested with Indian brokers. On June 23, at least 9 Bangladeshis were arrested and on June 24, two thieves were arrested in Agartala, it was known that 1 of them who had been living in Agartala for a long time, was actually a Bangladeshi. Then on June 26, total 4 Bangladeshis were arrested and on June 28, more 2 Bangladeshis were arrested. On June 30, total 11 Bangladeshi, on July 1st more 11 Bangladeshis have been arrested and today more 11 in the row. Out of the 40 arrested persons, 39 were arrested by Agartala Railway Police. TIWN has reported these 41 arrested from Agartala in last few weeks and it’s not the whole state’s picture.
