UDAIPUR, July 2 (TIWN): Due to heavy monsoon, the water level of Gomti River has increased. As a result, the road in the Hirapur area has been submerged in the river.

The villagers said that after this incident happened at midnight yesterday, even the drinking water pipeline burst. Traffic is a problem in the area.

The villagers demanded that if the local administration does not repair this road soon, a major accident could happen at any time. This is because the water level in the Gomti river has risen due to which a Hirapur road in Maharani area has become a death trap.
