AGARTALA, July 2 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday inaugurated two newly constructed buildings of Kanchanbari Primary Health Center and Veterinary Dispensary in Unakoti district this afternoon.
4 crore 46 lakh rupees were spent on the construction of the primary health center building, while 81 lakh 82 lakh rupees were spent on the construction of the veterinary dispensary building.
In his inaugural speech, the Chief Minister said that the government is sincere in developing the health services and infrastructure of the state.
“The Donor Ministry of the Central Government has allocated Rs. 515 crore rupees to improve the health system of the state. A request has been made to the central government to set up AIIMS-style hospitals,” said CM.
The chief minister said that the production of milk, meat and eggs in the state is increasing. He mentioned that the state government is also working to develop animal resources.
