BISHALGARH, June 25 (TIWN): Dozens of voters, including the ruling party BJP's Panchayat Pradhan and her husband, joined the Congress party in Bishalgarh Assembly's Aravindnagar Panchayat.
They were received by Congress Secretary Jaydeb Barman, District Congress Secretary Arafat Iqbal, Bishalgarh Block Congress President Dilip Chowdhury and others. The joining meeting was held at Ward No. 3.
The joining program held at Tapan Shib's house of Aravindnagar Panchayat on Tuesday afternoon.
Meanwhile, Aravindnagar Panchayat two-time Panchayat Pradhan Meera Debnath and her husband Sanju Debnath who was booth presidents of Ward No. 4 of Aravind Nagar Panchayat in 2014 and were subsequently elected as members of the District OBC Morcha joined.
