AGARTALA, June 23 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has sent 100 boxes of queen pineapples to Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

This has now turned into an annual ritual when the leaders of Bangladesh and the Indian state of Tripura exchange fruits as a symbol of friendly relations between the bordering countries.

A major portion of the state Tripura is geographically bordered by Bangladesh, which necessitates a continuous friendly relationship between both countries.
