AGARTALA, June 16 (TIWN): Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Sunday warned the consumers to declare how much electricity they are using. It means, the consumers have to declare now the gap between the used electricity when they took the connection and how much they are taking now. Addressing a press meeting, Ratan Lal Nath blamed the consumers that they are not declaring how much electricity they are using, resulting often power cut caused to too much load. He said, it is happening because of undeclared electricity uses.

The Minister told this after loosing his control in anger “again” when journalists asked him about whether his department is reeling under staff-shortages, as TSECL employees are failing to attend the consumers when they seek help.
