AGARTALA, May 20 (TIWN): Based on secret sources information of keeping Cannabis at Amit Debbarma’s rented house in Krishnanagar area, the Police of West Police Station led a raid at Amit Debbarma’s rented house in Krishnanagar and recovered 36 Kg Cannabis. Police detained him under NDPS case No- 65/2024 U/s- 20, Clause B, Clause 2, Clause- C, 25 and 29.

Paritosh Das, OC of West Police Station, said that Amit lived on rent in a house in Krishnanagar and was dealing with Cannabis.

The recovered cannabis price would be one and a half lakh rupees.

Amit Debbarma is a resident of Jampuijala and is residing in Krishnanagar Sumit Debbarma’s house as a tenant.
