AGARTALA, March 19 (TIWN): Blaming the opposition for trying to create issues with various issues, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha while addressing Teliamura Prishtha Pramukh meeting, said, “The opposition right now is suffering due to no issue in the state. They are searching for issues or they are trying to create issues. CAA, is not applicable in our place (TripuraADC) and still they are trying to make it an issue here.” The statement came from CM Dr Manik Saha while praising PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for various accords signed for the sake of peace in Northeast India.

"The opposition earlier used to say Tipra Motha is good but now when Tipra Motha aligned with BJP, they accused Tipra Motha for not being good!" added the chief minister.

CM said, “Outside Tripura, people are surprised to hear that we provide Rs. 2000 social pension. In no other state, such facilities are given in the form of social pensions.”
Peace is an inseparable ingredient for development. Without peace, no state can develop. Tripura does not only shine in peace maintenance but also in other sectors too. Tripura is in 3rd position in most of the sectors. Prime Minister Narendra Modi believes in transparency. Our Govt too working in that direction. What do the people want? People want transparency in the government,” said CM Dr Manik Saha.

“PM Modi has molded Tripura with his HIRA model. I often use the train on the Teliamura route, which was a dream once upon a time for Tripura. That’s how PM Modi is bringing the change under act-east-policy,” said CM.

“Sometimes, I doubt whether I am in India or not. Just recently I was in West Bengal and enjoyed the Bande Bharat train. Hoping such launches in Tripura too. PM Modi has selected three stations for development. Around Rs. 250 crores have been given to convert Agartala Railway station into an international Railway station. Over Rs. 700 crores were allocated for various projects including Dental college development, and rehabilitation centers for drug addicts. Tripura now has the 3rd strongest internet connectivity,” said CM Dr Manik Saha.
