AGARTALA, March 1 (TIWN): Tripura Budget 2024-25 highlights on the skill development mission of the Govt. The budget placed by Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy said, “Tripura Govt has covered 16, 169 youth under Deen-Dayal-Gramin Koushal Yojana. Total 5,168 youth have been employed under the scheme. Many youth were brought under employment generation through 74 career career fairs”. Total Rs. 27,804.67 crores budget was placed in the assembly. Total Rs 6,633.80 crore designated for capital expenditure and Rs 1721.94 crore has been preserved for the agriculture sector. Rs 2,000 crore will be spent for road infrastructure development in the state.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha praised budget 2024-25 that was placed by state Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy on Friday. Reacting to the budget, CM said, “The budget is pro-people and all sections of people will benefit by this budget I am very satisfied with the budget. This budget was made keeping the overall development in mind. Public will be heavily benefited from the budget. This budget is a development path for the state, made with a futuristic vision. It has covered all sections of people in the society. I thank Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy for placing such a budget.”
Finance Minister Pranajit Sinha Roy said this was the first time such a scheme like CM Jana Arogya Yojana covering 100% people was launched.
“9,65000 families are in Tripura who are getting benefits of Ayushman project and rest 4,15000 families have been brought under the CM Jana Arogya Yojana project. Both schemes will provide Rs. 5 lakhs health package annually, covering the 100% population,” said Pranajit Sinha Roy.
