AGARTALA, Feb 26 (TIWN): After returning from Delhi followed by a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Manikya said, “My point is very clear. I am not going to trust anybody’s verbal assurance. I want promises in writing. Otherwise, I will be strict with my plan for Hunger strike at Hathwai Kathar”.

“My stand is very clear. Unless the Govt of India does not give us a promise in writing, I can not lie to my people and confuse them with uncertainty,” Manikya added.

Pradyot Manikya also criticized the BJP Govt for not fulfilling its written promises which it had promised before elections.

“I know some leaders among Tiprasa are selfish. But I want to unit all Tiprasa so that I can give something to the next generation of the Tiprasa,” Pradyot Manikya told media.
