AGARTALA, Feb 25 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha advised his party workers to keep faith in voters instead of focussing on violence and rigging policies. In an interaction with party workers while addressing in Bordowali constituency, CM said, CPI-M won elections by scientific rigging, and without violence, no single election could be held earlier. “In our party, some people say, if CPI-M could continue to be in power by rigging, why can’t BJP conduct such rigging? But, I would say, BJP would not walk on CPI-M’s path because that’s the path that destroyed them (CPI-M),” said CM.

“Our party was established in 2018 but it was in 2023, that Tripura witnessed a total violence-free Assembly election, Could anybody imagine, in Tripura such a violence-free election can be done ?” CM added.

The chief minister asked party workers to keep faith in voters.

“Rs. 2000 social pension is given only in Tripura and no other state govt in India could provide such a high amount of social pension. CM Jana Arogya Yojana has been bringing a change to the health services,” CM said asking the party to highlight the developmental works.
