AGARTALA, Feb 13 (TIWN): Along with a nationwide strike, CPI-M unions also have called a strike in Tripura on 16th February.
Today, rallies were organized across Tripura appealing common men to join the strike.
The strike will be observed with 24 demands.
Talking to media, trade union leader Manik Dey said, the Modi Govt is not at all listening to anyone. It is behaving insane.
“BJP Govt at center is insecure whether it will come to power or not; as a result they are taking decisions without any consults. They do not want to listen to anyone. Just like before the end of the empire, they are looting as much as possible”, said Manik Dey.
The leftist trade union leaders criticized Modi Govt for privatizing various sectors and accused it of putting the nation on “sale”.
