UDAIPUR, January 29 (TIWN): On 27th January Mustak Miah, S/O- Late Riku Micah of Paschim Khilpara, Udaipur Sub Division submitted a letter to DM Gomati Sonal Goel intimating her about " the receiving of one Forged International Passport Vide No-M-5692461" and accordingly TRIPURAINFOWAY published detailed news on 28th January related with the entire episode based on the information provided by our investigating team and the information given by TIWN sources in DM Gomati's Office supported by authenticated documents. And in the evening of 28th January DM GOMATI Sonal Goel threatened TRIPURAINFOWAY's Udaipur Correspondent over phone for publishing news item regarding the involvement of the gang of Forged International Passports inside her office. Surprisingly without giving any updates about the steps taken by Gomati District Administration on this serious and equally sensitive issue on National security , DM Gomati threatened TIWN Udaipur in an effort to silence media.

It was exactly  at 19.56HRS when DM Gomati Sonal Goel called our Udaipur correspondent over phone from her official landline number 03821-222202 and practically threatened TRIPURAINFOWAY.com and our Udaipur Journalist as if to teach him and our media the art of 'Ethics of Journalism'.

Let's go what Sonal Goel said over phone(unedited) ," Abhi to actually whatever you people want, you are just writing. So now I will teach your website how to face music. Because the way you are writing articles, is it suitable for you to write this way? The point is if you keep on writing anything by the name of any official, I will have to file a defamation suit I am warning you. This is no way of writing against any office or any establishment. ... ..... What kind of journalism is this, I don't understand? Don't you have any ethics of journalism or not? " Putting a blame on the honest person who actually made the complaint , DM Gomati said," Are you sure that whatsoever the person complained is 100% true?" It is to be mentioned that on our 28th January's news on this topic, we have expressed doubts that to suppress the truth the complainant may be harassed and the way DM GOMATI threatened TRIPURAINFOWAY.com ," I will tell your website how to face music", it is quite obvious that instead of doing any action against the guilty and informing media, DM Gomati's sole intention would be to suppress the fact that this type of corruption, which is very serious for national security, is being produced and continues to be organized by a section of corrupt officials now posted in DM Gomati's Office.

Even a blind man with very little knowledge of International Passport issues knows it categorically that without the recommendation of the concerning District Magistrate, Regional Passport Office can't issue a Passport against anybody directly. And being the ultimate authority in this regard DM Gomati can't deny that there are definitely  some miss management inside her office that is actually encouraginga section of people running the gang of Forged International Passports. 

       There is no denying of the fact that there is a den of corruption in DM Gomati's Office ; otherwise the entire district would not have been submerged under deep rooted corruption in all the Sub Divisions under Gomati District. Reacting over a news on Forged International Passport DM Gomati Sonal Goel , IAS threatened TRIPURAINFOWAYcom for publishing the said news based on authenticated information rather than updating about the steps taken by the Gomati District administration as well by her for being the highest authority in the district. Surprisingly acting on such a serious issue Sonal Goel went through an undemocratic way of threatening a journalist for publishing a news which needs urgent attention. Rather than updating on the administrative efforts on this issue, Sonal Goel threatened a jouranlist blasting him using some foul words. From her way of charting with a journalist over phone on a serious news , the auestone that will arise is:-

" Is this the way to deal with media that all IAS officers are trained in the prestigious institution for IAS trainees in ASI Dehradun?" And over this indecent behaviour and practically the way she has threatened."

 TRIPURAINFOWAY.com is informing the matter to the Tripura Press Community, CBI, NIA,  Prime Minister's Office(PMO), Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India, Governor of Tripura P B Acharya, Chief Secretary G Kameswara Rao and other appropriate authorities over this serious issue of PASSPORT FORGERY corruption ring by terrorist, insurgent elements under the nose of Gomati District Administration headed by Sonal Goel.

      It is to ensured that TRIPURAINFOWAY.com is not afraid of any kind of threatening and even today our Udaipur Correspondent very politely tried to convince DM Gomati that  TRIPURAINFOWAY.com is the only media not only in Tripura but in the entire NE region that has the guts to publish what is true, least bothered about threats from corrupt officials. Even in Tripura it is the only neutral and unbiased media that has succeeded to attract the attention of followers within a one year of its official launching on 5th January 2014. And even on the issue of threatening our Udaipur correspondent over phone , TRIPURAINFOWAY.com would very politely request DM Gomati to file defamation suit against the news item on Forged International Passport (link below). Once defamation is filed TRIPURAINFOWAY will certainly present the facts before judicial authority to verify facts. However, DM Gomati cannot avoid her responsibility to investigate serious national security issues and close all doors to media in a "phulan devi" manner.

Actually during the last one year we published a bulk of corrupt ions and scams on various centrally sponsored funds like MGNREGA, NRHM, RMSA. And even in future it will remain busy to expose any instance of scam anywhere in Tripura.
