AGARTALA, Jan 21 (TIWN): Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar to be conferred by President of India on 22nd January to 19 children including Tripura’s girl named Jotsna Aktar.
Jotsna is a resident of Belonia subdivision of South Tripura District, studying in standard 10th.
Jotsna, in 2022 stopped her marriage with the help of Childline. She was in class-9 during that time when her parents were forcing her for marriage. With her strength of mind she saved herself from teenage marriage and continued her study.
Thus Jotsna has been selected among 19 extraordinary children of India who will be awarded on January 22nd at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi from the hands of President Droupadi Murmu.
On 23rd January Prime Minister Modi will talk to each of the talented children.
