Winter Vegetables demand high : Tripura farmers hoping ‘profit’

AGARTALA, Dec 25 (TIWN): The winter crops have been harvested by state farmers and local productions have increased this year.
Talking to farmers in Teliamura, they said even though unseasonal rain, cyclones caused damages but still they are hoping to cover up the losses and more profits are expected in coming days.
Demands for green vegetables have gone high in the state. Tripura along with local productions, also depends upon exported items.
Brinjal, radish, cauliflowers, cabbage, tomatoes and various other green vegetables have been cultivated by state farmers.
