AGARTALA, Dec 24 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Saha while addressing in a blood donation camp calls for nation building with the young generation, adding values from the elder generation. Addressing on the occasion, CM said, “The senior citizens have to be respected. Just like this club, there should be a sitting zone for the senior citizens. It is said that wise men learn from other’s mistakes, whereas without learning from the previous generation, development is never possible. They are experienced and there is no better teacher than experience”.
CM attended various programs on the day and called for making Tripura an Education and Medical hub.
Manik Saha while addressing at Pragna Bhawan on the occasion Dentist Day said that Tripura is now gradually emerging as a medical hub.
“We have four Universities, Medical, nursing, Engineering colleges. So from all sides, Tripura is also emerging as an Education hub”, added CM.
CM Manik Saha further appealed to the new generation to become good humans, not only good students.
CM further called for a drug-free-Tripura requesting all students to keep eyes over the alarming issue.
