AGARTALA, Dec 17 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Saha on the occasion of Dental College’s foundation day criticized Congress MLA Sudip Barman for his letter to the Prime Minister’s office ahead of Tripura’s dental college inauguration.
“Some people always carry their negative mindset and I still can’t forget how the Dental College’s inauguration program was attempted to be obstructed by sending a letter to Prime Minister’s office alleging that we do not have enough faculty members”, said CM.
“He (Sudip Barman) considers himself as highly learned person but he does not know that faculties differ from semester to semester. I was not in state and was attending a program with PM Modi. It was a holiday and Dental Council was closed. After much efforts, I could open the council and anyhow brought out that paper which was necessary and all details were in that. But today, we have the Dental college. Once people even couldn’t imagine that Tripura will have a Govt Dental Medical College”, said Saha.
