AGARTALA, Dec 18 (TIWN): After Congress State President Asish Saha announced Congress National leader Priyanka Gandhi’s visit in December month, seeing no visibility of such a program schedule for Gandhi yet on behalf of Congress on December 7, media once again asked clarification from Asish Saha whether Priyanka Gandhi would visiting Tripura on December or not. Replying media queries, Asish Saha said, Priyanka Gandhi will definitely come and she will visit in December month only. However, as December ending is approaching there is no such sign of Priyanka Gandhi’s arrival which has put the party leaders in an embarrassing situation.

Recently, Rahul Gandhi was stopped by Agartala MBB Airport on 16^th October ahead of five states’ election, when Gandhi was on way to Mizoram. State Congress’s top leaders were present at the Airport and held discussions.

However, right now Congress has no answer about Priyanka Gandhi’s arrival, which has been causing a face-loss situation for the state party president Asish Saha. In one way, it has raised question, why did Asish Saha make such a comment about Priyanka Gandhi’s arrival without conformation and on the other way, the party workers left demoralized.
