Talking to media, Sarkar said, locals alleged at night some Tata, Bolero cars roam in the area and they suspect these are the people who are behind the stealing of cows.

“Border is fenced and thus the question raises where the theft cows are smuggled. Drug addiction has increased massively and it is suspected that the smugglers use these youth for these activities.”, said MLA Sudip Sarkar.

“Recently 3 cows were stolen from a home and same tragic incidents are happening with many families. I have talked to the police to take immediate action against such culprits.” Sarkar told media.
