Agartala, January 28 (TIWN): 25th Industry and Commerce Fair of Tripura will begin from tomorrow and continue up to February 9. Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty will inaugurate the fair at International Fair ground, Hapania. Among other distinguished guests, Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation, Prafullajit Sinha, local MLA Shankar Prasad Dutta, Gouri Das will be present on the Dias.

Like previous glorious years, this year also, traders from different parts of the country will visits the fair i and, people from all age groups came into the fair to buy discounted items.

A vast variety of exquisite, traditional artifacts attracted a steady stream of customers. Handicrafts, textiles and decorative objects were the highlight of the fair as visitors thronged the apparels and showpieces sections as well. Industry and commerce fair is the fair that aims at providing a platform to rural artisans and local Self Help Groups, have helped these craftsmen a lot, as, besides direct retail sales at the stalls, the young entrepreneurs are getting bulk orders too.
