AGARTALA, Nov 25 (TIWN): Protest was staged at Agartala city center premise by TET qualified unemployed youths on Saturday at City Center, Agartala.
“Earlier there was a legal barrier which was removed long back. We are unable to understand the reason behind delayed recruitment. When schools are reeling under teachers’ crisis, why can’t the Govt recruit a few numbers of qualified candidates”, said a job aspirant.
Some of the agitators broke down in tears seeking recruitment.
“We are now frustrated. We consider the Govt as our guardian as our fates are in their hands. We request the Chief Minister to recruit us with folded hands”, said a housewife, a qualified candidate who is in tears while appealing for her recruitment.
“We have been protesting for a long time for our recruitment. We have staged protest at TRBT, Education offices”, said a job aspirant.
Many times, the STGT candidates wanted to meet CM Manik Saha (who is also the Education Minister) but did not get an appointment.
