AGARTALA, Sep 14 (TIWN): Students have gheraoed Tribal Welfare Dept amid piles of stipend dates crossed by the department.
The protest was launched by NSUI but participated by many students.
Talking to a student, she said, even though an online check, shows students stipends are available, displaying even the token number but they are not given stipends.
NSUI Tripura President Samrat Roy said, if the Dept does not take action immediately, then bigger protests will be launched by the students.
