AGARTALA, Aug 20 (TIWN): In a major allegation against a section of faculty for being involved in forcing students to take coaching from an institution to get into Law Entrance merit list. As evidence, the papers of a student were found tempered with double color ink used by the authority after the student had sought to probe into his unexpected results via RTI. The student Kunal Singh said, initially he was not allowed to check his papers that itself creates doubt against the system.
It has been alleged that a syndicate of few professors has affiliated with an institution where students are forced to study and the faculties of the Law College are the coaches there, whereas Chief Minister Manik Saha has banned private tuition by Govt teachers in a recent order.
When the student named Kunal Singh applied for RTI to check his papers in details, he was not even allowed to do so. Later it was found that assessment team used red and green ink on a same paper and the student was forced to sign the satisfaction sheet.
A complaint will be lodged to the Vice Chancellor and Education Dept authority about the incident.
