AGARTALA, July 1 (TIWN): The black market of fuel gas has been continuing in the state for a long time. As a result of which the black market of fuel gas is increasing day by day.
To stop the black market of LPG gas cylinders, the officials of the food department of Sadar Office suddenly raided various restaurants and hotels in Amtali area including Hapania on Saturday.
Officials of the Food Department raided a total of 20-25 hotels and restaurants in Hapania and Amtali area and recovered eight LPG gas cylinders stored illegally.
However, it is known that legal action will be taken against the hotels and restaurants from which illegal LPG gas cylinders were recovered in this operation. Officials of the Food Department said that such operations will continue. The main reason for this operation was to stop the black market of LPG gas.
