AGARTALA, June 21 (TIWN): Once again Airline passengers faced severe problems due to the cancellation of flight which they booked under Akasa Airlines. This incident happened at Agartala Airport where the passengers were scheduled to fly to Guwahati. Due to that some passengers who had transfer / connecting flights from Guwahati Airport have also missed their flight. Harassment of Tripura Passengers continues by Airlines as similar reports came in last few months multiple times including Air India flights.

On Tuesday, Akasa Airline canceled flight after keeping 100 passengers waiting for 5 hours at Agartala MBB Airport.

This incident generated tension at Agartala MBB Airport. Passengers protested against the incident, appealed the Chief Minister to take action.

Passengers on wheelchair also suffered due to the delay and cancellation.
