AGARTALA, June 16 (TIWN): Thousand crore’s SMART City could not give any relief in 6 years of BJP Govt to the people of Agartala.

Water logging hit Agartala city on Thursday night just after half an hour of rain.

BJP before coming into power promised that there will zero water logging in Agartala city if BJP comes to power, but after 6 years of Govt, nothing could be developed much.

In water-logging control, only some new machines were installed but what was promised about SMART City it could not be done.

However, thousands of evictions took place in the last 6 years of BJP Govt in the name of SMART City and a lot of parking charge, increase in rents and other taxes were started by this Govt.
