AGARTALA, June 12 (TIWN): BJP MP, Central Minister Pratima Bhowmik on Monday told media in Agartala that the development in Northeast did not start before 2014.

Bhowmik was addressing the media at Barjala where she was celebrating 9-years of Modi Govt with BJP workers.

“Everyone knows, the sun rises in the Northeast first but in this Northeast development started much later which is sad. Since 2014 the development started here. Railway to Highway, all connectivity was improved and the projects are underway”, she said.

On being asked my media about Drug-Addiction related problems, Pratima Bhowmik said, “It’s not today’s topic but as you have asked, I must say that to free the society from Drug-Addiction is not only the task of the Govt but also common men should come forward to end such problems”.
