The body was found in an abandoned drain in West Charkabai Uttar Para on Sunday evening.

The police of Baikhora police station reached the spot after receiving the information about the incident. Police took the body to Baikhora Primary Health Center for post-mortem.

The deceased has been identified as Kartik Bhowmik, a resident of West Charakbai North Para. He was missing since Saturday afternoon.

The cause of death is unclear.
