AGARTALA, June 10 (TIWN): Tripura Forest Dept has organized ‘Forest Food Festival’ at Shyami Bazar located Heritage Park to promote the Forest Food Culture.
According to the Dept officials, it will help the tribal population to get their due prices of those food, which they collect from forest.
It has also been pointed that Forest Food is organic in nature and has no pesticides and that’s why people also should consume such food as much as they can.
Various delicious, traditional Tiprasa food dishes were arranged including Chakwai, Gudok, Sticky rice etc.
