AGARTALA, June 10 (TIWN): Congress organized a plantation drive program in Agartala in collaboration with the Seva Dal.

The tree plantation program was held on Saturday under the initiative of Sadar District Congress and Seva Dal.

Former MLA Ashish Kumar Saha and other senior leaders were present on the occasion and planted trees at Gandhi Ghat.

Besides they planted trees at the foot of Netaji's marble statue in Maharajganj Bazar.

Ashish Saha expressed resentment as the Netaji statue of Maharajganj Bazar was left dirty due to negligence.

Ashish Saha also demanded that the electrical transformer should not be installed there.
