AGARTALA, May 18 (TIWN): A youth named Tapan Chakraborty was brutally beaten by four people led by Gopal Sarkar in Indranagar Kalibari area on Thursday.
Tapan Chakraborty, who is undergoing treatment at GB Hospital, said that some people threw stones at Gopal Sarkar's house but the incident had nothing to do with injured Tapan Chakraborty.
But, provoked Gopal Sarkar to come out on the street and beat Tapan Chakraborty, who is also his younger brother.
