AGARTALA, May 18 (TIWN): Common People are facing harassment due to ‘Sai Computer (Private electricity service provider company) for providing Fake Electricity Bills. It should be noted that Sai Computer Company has been providing electricity services to Kailashahar for the past 3 years. From the day Sai Computer Company took over the responsibility of providing electricity service, the quality of electricity service in Kailasahar has gone down. If the state government does not take any role immediately, then the employees of the private electricity service provider 'Sai Computer' will face public anger.

It is reported that a poor day laborer Shimul Urang, a permanent resident of Kalachhara village of Ward No. 4 of Deorachhara ADC Village in Kailashahar and belongs to a financially weak BPL family, has been using electricity legally for the past thirty years. Victim Shimul Urang himself said that the electricity bill of Shimul Urang has been coming from an average Rs 190-192 for the past 3.5 years since the private electricity service provider Sai Computer Company has taken the responsibility of providing electricity service in Kailashahar. Shimul Urang was shocked when the electricity bill for the month of April suddenly came to Rs 10,000. Shimul Urang said that he went to Kailashahar PS to file a case against the Sai Company but the Police returned him.

He also stated that only a fan and a light run at his house and he clears bill in every Month without any disruption.

Shimul Urang alleged that many people have been getting fake electricity bills in Deorachra village next to Kalachra village but the Company has Zero intention to Consider such a huge Electricity Bill.

Not only that allegation raised against the ‘Sai Computer’ Private Company, after applying in writing to Sai Computer Company for providing electricity connection to Pranavananda Vidyamandir located in Jiturdighir area in Kailasahar. The School Authority deposited Rs 30,000 on March 10 of this year, 2 months have passed after depositing the money, but till today Sai Computer Company has not provided an electricity connection to Pranavananda Vidyamandir. The school has been running without electricity for the past 2 months amid the scorching heat.
