AGARTALA, May 17 (TIWN): Even during Left Front Govt’s time, Central BJP Govt never launched any train in Tripura excluding the then Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and State Transport Minister from train-launching programs, but violating all curtesy, today BJP MP Pratima Bhowmik who is right now allegedly engaged in massive internal clash with CM Manik Saha since she could not become CM after 2023 Assembly poll, now has not leave the opportunity to downplay CM Manik Saha’s existence.
Even though BJP Govt both at Centre and State but CM Manik Saha was fully excluded from the Agartala-Kolkata train flagging-off program at Agartala Railway Station on Wednesday. Out of two MPs of Tripura, only Pratima Bhowmik had led the program which has generated controversy.
During Left Govt’s era even after massive battle was ongoing between BJP and the Left, in all programs, Transport Minister of the State and the CM were invited. But now, when BJP is ruling both in State and Centre, how such an incident could take place, it has raised question.
Pratima Bhowmik targeted to become the Chief Minister of Tripura and since Assembly poll result declaration, unprecedented news were coming in few national media that she might become the Chief Minister. However, her tricks did not work out as BJP High Command ordered her to resign from MLA post.
Right now, there are multiple factions that are activated inside the Tripura BJP. Not only Pratima Bhowmik, but former CM Biplab Deb also visits Tripura after every few weeks and calls press meet to downplay Tripura BJP’s present leadership.
