AGARTALA, May 13 (TIWN): After the Karnataka Poll result was declared, Tripura CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury congratulated Congress in Karnataka for its remarkable victory and mentioned, in Tripura also BJP was defeated but due to Vote-Divisions, the state could not get rid off BJP amid BJP’s significant drop of vote sharing. “Even after BJP got less than 40% votes in Tripura it gained the majority in Assembly with narrow margin due to the vote division. However, the magic which BJP wanted to create across India --- “Modi hai toh mumkin hai", that magic did not work out for BJP in Karnataka Poll”.
“People of Karnataka have given the befitting reply to Modi magic. In Tripura 60% people wanted the change and voted against BJP but bad luck that due to vote division, BJP got the victory”, said Chowdhury.
