AGARTALA, May 1 (TIWN): A young man named Rakesh Das was injured in a knife attack for money exchange issues.

On Monday, the businessman named Rakesh Das was seriously injured by the creditors in Kali Bazaar. The area falls under Lefunga police station.

The police of Lefunga police station and Bamutia outpost rushed to the spot after getting the information. However, the attackers escaped before the police had reached. At present, the young man named Rakesh Das is fighting with death in GB Hospital.

Rakesh Das's family said Gautam Pal and his 3 sons Biplab Pal, Gaurab Pal, Saurabh Pal attacked Rakesh Das with sharp weapons. They stabbed him multiple times. All accused persons are now absconding.
