AGARTALA, April 12 (TIWN): Back in 2016-17, electric poles were installed at government expense in Paizabari village under 47 Ambassa Assembly with an intention to provide electricity connection. The Villagers were happy that they will get Electricity connection but unfortunately, the Govt could not able to arrange electricity in Paizabari village till today.
Despite assurances, no provision has been made for drinking water and no development of the only navigable road for the villagers in Paizabari village under 47 Ambassa Assembly. The then BJP MLA Parimal Debbarma assured to the villagers that if he wins in the 12th Assembly elections in 2018, then his first job would be to develop the electricity connection, to provide drinking water and roads will renovate in Paizabari village.
But after winning the Assembly elections, Parimal Debbarma roamed with government bodyguards as an MLA for five years but he forgot his given promise to the poor people and no work was done.
In 2023 Assembly Elections, the ruling party BJP has lost in 47 Ambassa constituencies and Chittaranjan Debbarma of Tipra Motha party has won from this constituency. On Wednesday MLA Chittaranjan Debbarma visited Paizabari village and assured their problems would be solved. Now it is to be seen what initiave will be taken to solve those issues.
