KAMALPUR, JAN. 21 (TIWN): The scheme of the direct benefit transfer to the fair price shop consumers for edible oil and daal turned into a dilemma for the commoners. And the administration failed to show any definite remedy for the consumers.
According to the announcement of the State Government, the fair price shop consumers of the state would get an amount of 105 rupees at a rate of 35 rupees per month from January after every three months.
For availing this opportunity, the consumers were directed from the part of the administration that, they should fill in and submit a prescribed format. Later changing this directive another order was initiated that the fair price shops would fill in the prescribed format of their consumers and submits it to the food department. But a minimum of fair price dealers still not filled in the formats and so the consumers remained ineligible for the benefit. Mysteriously, the administration remained reluctant about the matter.
When SDC (Food) asked admitted the fact and assured of early remedy of the matter. Meanwhile many consumers got their amount in their bank accounts. It created a much chaos among the consumers. And if not remedied soon, then, it might make the situation worse.
