AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): After 8 hours of the all-party meeting at the district level, the CPI-M Party office at Dolugaon Bajar of Chandipur Assembly was set on fire. The incident of arson at Dolugaon CPI-M office suddenly came to the light by the neighbours around 1:15 on Saturday night. Allegedly, miscreants set fire to CPIM Party office in Dolugaon Bajar.
Residents and traders were frightened by the loud noise like firecrackers from the fire, as the flames of the fire spread quickly, which spread panic among the locals.The incident has spread intense anger among local people as there were high chances to set fire on nearby houses.
There has been a strong demand raised to catch the miscreants and give exemplary punishment. It is alleged that when the locals informed the fire department, but the Fire Department’s personnel did not arrive on time.
When the police reached the spot, the common people expressed their anger on the Police centering the incident.
