AGARTALA, Feb 28 (TIWN): Tripura InfoWay News (TIWN) Editor Saumen Sarkar continues to put pressure on the opposition to make sure that each of the counting agents is well-trained and they can not be removed from the counting stations by threats and attacks. The statement came after in many elections in Tripura in last five years counting agents were severely attacked. The Editor asked the counting agents to keep their keen eyes during counting and updating of the tally sheets during the vote counting. Tripura Election results will be declared on 2nd March which means less than 48 hours remained before the poll counting date. Editor also asked to keep eyes on the officers’ activities and to go on the counting day with the same spirit as the voting day.
The Editor said, “I have come here to make the fake exit polls exit from your mind and let you keep focus on the counting day rather. This is the work of paid media which works for BJP and their Exit Polls did not work in Himachal and West Bengal polls”.

It can be mentioned here, BJP has been propagating since a long time after the vote was completed that Opposition will not be able to give counting agents. Already multiple attack incidents were reported in the state on the opposition. TIWN Editor has appealed to the opposition, to get united and strengthen their grip as it is the last fight.
“BJP couldn’t stop voters, failed to capture booths. But they will now take the last attempt on the counting day and that’s why such blizzard exit polls were spread. But instead of focusing on fake exit polls, the oppositions have to get ready for 2nd March seriously and also to keep strict eyes over the strong rooms”, said the Editor.
