Tripura Election: Political Parties completed Poll Campaigning on Last Day of Campaigning

AGARTALA, Feb 14 (TIWN): Tripura 2023 Assembly Election is to be held on February 16. Today at 4 PM the poll campaigning deadline has crossed and all the political parties have campaigned at their best. On the last day of Election campaigning, Chief Minister Manik Saha claimed that he is receiving massive support from BJP which is limitless and innumerable. CM Manik Saha also claimed that opposition will come down to zero after the Assembly poll and after 2nd March, which is the vote counting day, the opposition parties will be nowhere seen. On the other hand Congress said that nobody can save BJP’s sinking boat and CPI-M General Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury also said that opposition is hopeful about BJP’s massive defeat.

Tripura Election is to be held on February 16 and the result is to be declared on March 2nd. From Tuesday (today) 4 pm all campaigning will be closed although door to door visit (not campaigning) can be continued.

Preparations are underway for the upcoming Assembly poll on 16th February.

Ahead of the state assembly election on February 16, the polling personnels are now engaged in the polling works at Umakanta Academy.

Additional SDM and Returning Officer of Sadar Baijayanti Das said, “Today, we are basically conducting checking the paper and works. Over 450 teams are in Umakanta building. Tomorrow the polling personnel will leave for the polling stations”.
