AGARTALA, Feb 7 (TIWN): BJP MLA Mimi Majumder who was not given any ticket for 2023 poll has shed tears in front of the masses in her own constituency Badharghat while seeking votes for candidate Meena Rani Sarkar. Mimi Majumder came to politics allegedly with former CM Biplab Deb’s recommendation when by-poll was needed in the Badharghat constituency with demise of ex-MLA Dilip Sarkar. Instead of Dilip Sarkar’s sister Meena Rani Sarkar, Mimi Majumder got ticket at that time, whereas she and her family members have been beneficiaries of Left Front. It created turmoil inside BJP for a long time, and finally, she was not given the ticket and Meena Rani Sarkar made her entry.

Talking to media, Mimi Majumder recently said that although she is a lifetime soldier of BJP but she is little upset as only three years were allocated to her to prove herself. She also mentioned that she quit Govt job for politics and got 3 times Covid during service to the people.

Today nonstop tear was dropping from her eyes. It created an embarrassing situation in the rally which was chaired by Central top BJP leader Rajnath Singh.
