AGARTALA, Feb 6 (TIWN): Although the Election Commission is preaching about Zero-Poll violence at least five major violence incidents were reported in Tripura in the last 24 hours.

A moving bus was attacked in Bishramganj yesterday that has left a few passengers injured. There are also reports of flags being damaged in places like Teliamura.

On Sunday night, cutting the electricity connection, CPI-M family was attacked in Bishalgarh and now Tipra Motha Bishalgarh candidate Shah Alam has sat on road protesting against an alleged attack on his vehicle, and his driver was also allegedly beaten up during the attack.

Today morning, Forward Bloc office was found vandalized and BJP goons had put their own party’s advertising banner at the Forward Bloc office. The two houses were attacked in the area.

Yesterday Trinamool Congress candidate was attacked in Border Gol Chakkar area.

If this is a free and fair poll, then Election Commission’s Zero-Poll violence mission has already turned into a joke.
