AGARTALA, January 16 (TIWN): In the state wide roll out phase Government of Tripura will implement e-District in all 8 districts of Tripura. Through e-District Government of Tripura envisages providing several G2C services efficiently by the district administration. The initiative will have provisions for seamless integration of various offices like Tehsils , Circles, Block, SDM and DM. for providing services to the citizens through a common delivery interface.
E-District is one of the 31 Mission Mode Project (MMP)s under National e-governance Plan (NeGP), with the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Government of India as the nodal department, to be implemented by State Government or their designated agencies.

However the Roles and Responsibilities of System Integrator (SI) are deployment of Hardware at State Data Center (DIT-Agartala), Site Preparation at end locations (DM/SDM/DCM/BDO/Tehsil/Any Other), Deployment of hardware at field locations (DM/SDM/DCM/BDO/Tehsil/Any Other), Establishing connectivity at field locations (DCM) and Digitization of historical data (Scanning and Data entry of records related to services).
