KHOWAI, Nov 23 (TIWN): Common men are bound to come forward for “self defence” when police fail to protect the society. The self-defence includes one’s dignity as per the Indian constitution too. Like other rallies of the opposition, BJP started attacking CPI-M’s rally verbally and threw stones at the rally in presence of police but inactive police played a puppet role in front of the bike-gang of BJP. Footages clearly shows that it was BJP which started provocation first and also held attacks on CPI-M from all sides. Later, CPI-M workers unitedly opposed the BJP gang led the bike-gang to fled away. Many of the BJP goons reported jumped in a pond to save themselves.
CPI-M’s counter attack almost resembled with Newton’s third law as the party was continuously being attacked by the ruling BJP for last 5 years.
In the counter attack by CPI-M in Khowai many BJP workers were injured in Khowai. At least 10 party workers were injured totalling both parties’ members. The injured persons were hospitalized by Police. The entire incident took place in front of Police. Footages show that when CPI-M party workers were marching at a rally, BJP workers with party flags came face to face and raised slogans against CPI-M.
The exchange of remarks and slogans between the two parties led to a clash in Khowai Beltali area.
The injured persons were rushed to the hospital.
The provocation came from BJP first who were attacking with filthy verbal language and continues to create disturbance during the rally procession. The counter attack by CPI-M led the BJP workers to escape from the spot though many left injured. No statement came from any of these parties yet.
CPI-M in its social media page released a footage where BJP bike gang members were attacking the CPI-M party.
