KAILASHAHAR, Nov 23 (TIWN): One more robbery incident took place in Kailashahar on Wednesday by showing sharp weapons.
Amid Chief Minister Manik Saha’s claims about “law and order developed in Tripura” such incidents are on rise.
The miscreants entered the home but cutting the tin-made walls and threatening the family members showing knifes and weapons. Cashes were taken away and also the family members were beaten up.
The incident took place at Chanipur Gram Panchayat Ward-No-5 Sukesh Das’s house,
The robbers entered at around 11.30 PM. Sukesh Das had sold an old car at Rs. 1.5 lakh which was also looted by the robbers.
Police did not reach the spot even after getting information. At morning, FIR was lodged with some of the suspected accused persons’ names but still, police have not taken any action.
Panchayat Pradhan Jotsna Das slammed police for their negligence and alleged, due to such attitudes of police, robberies are happening frequently.
