AGARTALA, Oct 27 (TIWN): The SFI Teliamura sub-committee placed deputation to Teliamura PS demanding immediate arrest and punishment of the accused in connection with the rape of a minor girl in the area adjacent to Kumarghat Hospital on October 19 and the rape of another minor girl on Oct 16 in Kalyanpur police station area.
Over increasing heinous crimes SFI on Thursday, a delegation of SFI sub-district committee placed deputation to Teliamura PS Officer-in-Charge Subrata Chakraborty.
After the deputation the SFI committee members said that Minister Bhagaban Das’s son is accused of a minor rape case but the Police yet not detained the criminal. The SFI members said that BJP’s active members are involved in rape case but no arrest is being done. It is alleged the Police are not detaining the BJP backed accused.
SFI demanded exemplary punishment should be taken against the criminals.
