AGARTALA, Oct 26 (TIWN): West Agartala PS Police detained two youths in Connection with the shoot out incident adjacent to Shonar Bangla Dhaba in Natun Nagar area. After hearing, Court has sent both the accused for 5 days police remand.
Police officer Ajay Kumar said that after interrogation more accused persons names may come out.
The detainees were Prabhakar Ghosh and Santosh Das of Usha Bazar area under Airport PS. The police detained the accused late on Wednesday night.
The accused were produced before Court seeking 5 days Police remand for further investigation.
Police also recovered two vehicles used in the shooting incident, said west PS SDPO Ajay Kumar Das. He also said that the incident took place centering Negotiation Mafia.
SDPO Ajay Kumar Das also said the injured Gurupada Das was the main target of the miscreants.
However, FIR lodged against the incident at West PS, Case No.- 169/2022 US- 307, 326, 34 IPC. Case also registered against other three. Bullets and other stuff were recovered from the incident spot.
