AGARTALA, Oct 13 (TIWN): Based on TIWN news, complaints were filed to various officers about ongoing water-crisis problems in Taiper Chong SB School. SDM Santir Bazar P.Sarkar has immediately taken action and sent notice to SDO, DWS to end the water crisis issue. SDM’s action exemplified how a bureaucrat should act on being criticized with facts.
School students, mid-day-meal workers were facing heavy difficulties to cook due to water crisis. Students at the same time were suffering from water crisis. It was reported that mid-day-meal workers were bringing water from houses to cook.
The BDO was reluctant to respond to the complaints.
However, getting information SDM has sent an urgent notice to the SDO asking to solve the matter on an urgent basis.
The letter issued to SDO by SDM stated, “It has come to the notice of the undersigned that the students of Dakshin Takma Taipar Chung Para SB School at South Takma are facing acute drinking water crisis for several months. People engaged in cooking are facing problems in preparing mid day meal for students. They have to bring water far away for cooking. Sometimes, teachers have to bring tiffin from the market instead of giving mid day meal. In this regard, you are requested to look into the matter and take necessary action as soon as possible with an intimation to the office of the undersigned”.
